I have just fitted a mk2 trip computer..
FINIS - Mk2: 96BB-10D885-AB

I followed the guide from Here;
http://www.mirez.co.uk/Trips.htm

I have only done the clock side of it so far.. but I run in to I'ver a type-O or my wiring is not the same...

Also I have the front heated windscreen switch Can I use this as the rear fog light indicator...
ie; when I turn the rear fogs on the light to say the heated screen is on?

I would remove the logo off the switch and maybe paint the rear fog logo on it...

Pin 11 on the Mk2 trip says it Black/Orange Alarm LED... Mine is Black/Blue Alarm led... Can I just follow the rest of the guide without problems or will I hit more problems????

Also guys I fitted the Mk2 suround and managed to fit a screw into the far left fixing....

I just used a longer screw....

Trip computer
For the 5 wires you have look at the mk1 trip instructions to see what they are for and look at the mk2 trip instructions to see where they go on the mk2 trip, then follow the mk2 trip instalation for the trip plug connections eg which pin is for vss, fuel flow ect.....
Now under the bonnet conections you follow mk1 instructions for the wire end under the bonnet and the other end of the wire you follow the mk2 instructions :)

Thanks but I think u miss understand, I can follow the guide, not a problem... The wiring that came with the trip comp only has one black / orange wire, witch is ground
The Alarm LED is Black / Blue..

So is it just a type-O in the Guide????

or do I have more suprise's to come?

You shouldnt be working from wire colours........ unclip the plug and take off the top then look at the end of the plug and the pins are numbered, use pin numbers :)
