i just instaled a trip comp to my mk1 all works good apart from when i turn my light on the hole desplay goes dark and you cant reed anything untill you turn lights off can any one help me please
wired up the same as the how to

sounds like you've wired the illumination wire to an incorrect wire

will have to take it back out and check the wireing

just check the illumination wire, although thinking about it, that would have been in the plug anyway and you wouldnt have added that, but it is a wiring issue :L
