Does anyone know if the front seat frame on a Mark 2 will fit a late mark 2????

yes of course. even a mk1 front seat frame will fit any mk2

iirc, Cougar front seats will fit Mk1 / Mk2 Mondys too :L

Well I've took the plunge and brought a set of Mark 2 Ghia X seats in Alchemy for £80 all in, not the tidiest set in the world but I only want the Drivers Front Seat frame as the one in my ST200 is broken. So fingers crossed the Side Airbags fit, although I think they were an option on the early cars so the mountinmg points should be there. Should make an interesting build with the 10 way adjustment, glad I work for a seating company lol. Now to figure out what to do with the rest of the bits........

I used a mk1 frame in my mk2 when the drivers one broke :L Only thing that's different is the bit the seat belt plugs into.

i converted std cloth mk2 seats using mk1 leather WITH an arm rest too to fit my mk2 was ok had to supply some nuts n bolts for the arm rest but it was pretty easy otherwise.
