Volvo parts

I know the engine is based on a Volvo, but on checking the air filter yesterday, i noticed it had a Volvo part no and thats what was allegedly fitted by Ford Direct mechanics on its last service. Judging by how black it is though, it looks like it is the original one. Even the filter holder is a Volvo part.

Anyway its service is due on Thursday, i'll check to see if they replace it with a Volvo part.

It would interesting to know how much an actual Volvo dealer would charge for it in comparison to a Ford dealer! :whistling:
