I have a new blaupunkt HU that has speed dependant volume.

Please can someone advise which wire on the little yellow plug carries the VSS signal.

im about to fit my sat nav braint to go with my alpine screen set up, where is the yellow plug in question, and does this cover mk1 1.8 diesels as well?

not 100% sure if the mk1's have the yellow plug as it carries the steering control cable to which the mk1's didnt have
