Washer Jet testing

One of my heated washer jets wasnt heating and had a load of crud in it so I got a new one from Ford. The new one isn't heating either. I have tested for power at the plug and that shows 12/13v with ignition so thats ok.

Is there anyway to test the heater element in the jet before I take it back ?????

Test for a complete circuit or resistance.

It's only to prevent icing at the jet itself, and is very low power. I'd guess about 2W maximum, so you'd be looking at something like 50-100 ohms.
