i just staring the wiring for Sat Nav and im seeing references to 'MIDDLE CAN + and MIDDLE CAN -'...

Can anyone tell me what this is? is it an additional power feed that i need to get sorted for the unit to power up?, so far i have illumination and the cd kicks into life but the unit wont actually switch on and im thinking that its this MIDDLE can thingy...

Please enlighten me as im getting alittle worried ive been sold a duff unit..

As I understtand this, CAN is a BUS system used for comunication around the cars computer systems. Not a power feed my friend.
