I have recently bought an ST200 on a W.
I recently removed the clock facia surround to see if irt was possible to fit a AWS System which by the looks ain't. However I did notice next the the coin tray a small round grill pointing toward the drivers seat. Behind is a small barrell like motor which spins constant with ignition.
What the hell is this ???? Exhuse my ignorance lol

its the cabin temp sensor for the SATC (Climate Control)

Sounds like the internal temperature sensor for your climate control. Make sure you you 'de-fluff' it before you put your dash back together. :L
