How do members mount their TomTom in a Mondeo (2008 estate 2.0D)?

There are no suitable large enough flat surfaces apart from the windscreen and that is far too far away.

I would like to put it near the centre console, as my wife normally uses the TomTom for navigating, but I can glance at it for a complicated road junction if I need to.

The only idea I have is that there is a triangular piece of plastic to the left and right of the radio. I wondered if that just pulled off? If so, I could drill it to provide a solid mount and then replace the plastic trim if I sold the car.

Thanks

Use a brodit mount and put a larger plate on it, sits on top corner of radio bezel and you can remove when sell car.

My brodit mount fitted with move clip for easy phone removal and without phone bracket, it fits in the gap of the surround, My slot on phone holder is also fitted with a swivel joint which would allow you to point or rotate it towards you if required.by using the move clip you can fit other holders for different items on the same mount.
