Hi,

iv just go myself a nice Ford Mondeo TDDi 2002 reg :woot:
and was wondering which garage should i go to to get my MOT and full service. :question:

im thinking of going to Kwikfit in Winsford and was wondering if there good. :idea:

i dont know a lot about cars (still learning :eyesup: ) so i dont want to get ripped off

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

If your not too far from the Warrington area then look in the reviews section at the bottom of the forum index. Look in the garages bit and check out buckshot9's. If you go to there tell him i sent ya. :L

What i would say is avoid kwik-rip at all cost...

There is one just 20 yards from where i live... and a small garage beside the house...

Had a chat with the blokes in the garage and we all agree that kwik-rip is a place of ripping off with not really any good quality.

Probably the main reason for staying in business is the location and all the advertising really... (and hence the high price tag?)

Yeah,

The kwik-fit near is in a good location on the main street in windsford but it never looks that busy and no-one i know goes there,

im going to go to that garage in warrington :L ,

my last car cost me a bit over £300 to pass its MOT at my local garage and they didnt do much to it but labour was about £200 :surprised:

I know of buckshot9s, not bad, but theres a hell of a lot more that are better, 2 ppl i have used are Motorcare on St Peters way in warrington (01925 631423), and Dunright Engine Reconditioners on Bank Quay trading estate warrington (01925 241998), My preference is Dunrights they are Engine Reconditioners and cam belt specialists so its probably the best one to go to imo, especially if you need a new cam belt, they are very thorough on those.

Im in Dallam (someones got to live there!). I used to live in Dundee close many years ago. A few of my mates live around the Cinnie brow area. Theres quite a few of us Warringtoners on here now!
