whirring sound

hi

in the last few weeks ive been noticing a real whirring sound when driving. at first i thought it was coming from under the bonnet, but a mate sat in passenger seat thought it was coming from the back, which im now sure is the case. the noise worsens when i turn the wheel to go round bends etc. he mentioned a faulty wheel bearing but dunno much about them.

any ideas folks???

if you dont know much about wheel bearings and the noise is baffling you ,go to a professional mechanic and he will know and set you mind at rest because unless you were competent you could fix the car yourself there is not much point asking how to diagnose of fix the car anywhere.s
