Why would it??

It would not accelarate as well as it would on standard wheels but the top end should have actually increased due to the larger rolling radius.

tyre radius too. my v6 accelerated like train when i had 16inch alloys from an escort on it(too small rolling diameter for a mondy) but with my 18's on it was loads slower on acceleration.
