Hi all, i wonder if anyone can give me any advice?

I bought a 2 year old C-Max in May 2018 from a main dealer, which has always had a condensation issue but during the colder weeks i've noticed it more and more. On closer inspection I have since found the interior to be soaking wet! On lifting the carpets in different areas the under neath is dripping wet! I checked a lot myself but have run out of ideas.

Anyway, I have got it booked into the main dealer to be checked over to see where the issue is!

My questions are:

If this likely to be covered by the warranty? They said they will have to remove all seats, carpets and panels to carry out a water test. If at this stage they deem it to be my 'fault' they will call me to see what i want to do!

What is this likely to cost if they blame me?

Who do I go to for further advice so I'm prepared?

Kind regards in advance, Rich

Depends whether its a design fault or a build issue or something like a

damaged seal.

Likely cost ## hours labour x ÂŁÂŁ hourly rate. Main dealer prices wont be cheap.

First time you have brought this problem to their attention? As its 6 months you

could be made to prove the fault was there before you bought it.

Just keep pushing your side, its been a very dry summer and very little rain when

you purchased the car.. Hard to tell which way it will go. Any other issues with

seals failing on that model?
