I received my new head unit today along with my rear view camera and high speed DVB-T tuner. I thought I would put a little guide on what to do with the camera as it took me a little while to figure out what to take apart to facilitate its installation!
Basically you need to take the plastic trim with the Ford logo on it off.
I put some electrical tape onto a smallish flat blade screwdriver and prised it away from each of the four the blue lugs (1 in the picture).
The plastic bung (2) is removable and you can put all your wires thru here
You don't have to but.... I removed all the screws and took the black plastic part off and cut the cable ties that hold the wiring harness in. It just gives you a bit more room to play around with.
The reversing camera had two wires coming out of it. One to attach to the number plate bulb and one that goes of to connect the reverse lamp power and a video screen.
Then take the cover off to the passenger side light cluster on the boot lid and you want to connect the red wire to the green wire and black to either of the black wires
