Usually connection issues between wiring loom and throttle body, throttle bodies can give trouble also.

There's actually a technical note about this, there's a few tests to follow but not really DIY friendly.

Had a similar issue. Mine turned out to be ignition coil. I woukd change HT leads and coil from eurocarparts. Reletively cheap and easy to do yourself.

 

My friend had a similar issue - turns out to be a almost had it battery, which was upsetting the EAC (Electronic Accelerator Controller?) when starting the car due to the battery volts dropping too much. New battery and its been fine since. That was a year ago now.

 

I had near enough the exact same problem which will eventually turn into a stall on cold start theres a pipe next to the throttle body that goes into the inlet manifold and connects to the engine by a filter had split and I just bought some 8mm wide hose off ebay and its sorted the problem out and no error code being flagged no more.
