Plenty of posts and pictures in this section. Some good pictures and instructions..

The basics....

Need to remove the leak off pipes and fit a pipe to each injector into a container. Run the engine at idle for 5 minutes check the levels
then run the engine at 2000 and 3000 rpm for a short while.

All 4 at the same time to compare levels.

1. Get the engine up to normal running temperature then switch off.
2. Remove the leak back tubes from the injectors.
3. Fit the tubes from the bottles to the injectors.
4. Start the engine and let it idle for 2 minutes.
5. Give it three short bursts of acceleration up to ~3000 rpm for 30 secs.
6. Switch off the engine.
7. Check the levels in the bottles. More than 25ml in any bottle is a fail.

Code:
<br />
          2 min      ___     ___     ___<br />
Start ______________|   |___|   |___|   |_____Stop<br />
<br />
          Idle           Acceleration<br />
Bottles and tubing (Total cost ÂŁ10.89)

You need to chop the top 1/4" off the bottles and you should make a pin hole in the lid portion just to ensure no back pressure.

I preferred the picture with 4 pop bottles. Proper DIY .

You're a true Brit. Purple. I kind of like doing things on the cheap too. The pop bottles are good but not as good as the roadside "Oh, it's pouring out!" test from Romania.

I heard he still has Whitworth spanners!, and keep a ball of string and chewing gum for the tough jobs
Yes i have whitworth spanners, Doesnt everyone?

I have to be careful with spanners also, I had a habit of filing smaller ones to make them fit, So its not unknown

for my 10mm spanners to be actually 13mm :D

String and gum? How old are you? Have you not heard of duck tape? Fixes everything :)

FOOL....its "Duct" not "Duck".....

BTW, nothing says poor workmanship like wrinkles in duct tape.

Duct tape is like The Force, it has a light side, and a dark side.....and holds the universe together

If duct tape and cable ties wont fix it.......its fooked

Mine says DUCK TAPE :p

Its waterproof so should work well on ducks, Cruel or not. :D

Not much room for ducks under the bonnet of a Mondeo though.
