Issues with auto transmission

Perhaps similar on my 09. Occassionally when I had slowed right down to maybe 5 km/hr and then went to move forward again, the car/transmission would give a hard jolt.

It was highly intermittent and at the service (Ford) I noted this to the Service Manager. When I picked the car up they couldn't find the fault or any fault code, so they said monitor it. Of course it still happened.

But then maybe 3 months later I unfortunately had to get a new battery. Well lo and behold the problem had gone!

I assume a computer reset was involved with the new battery and this fixed it.
