Punch a hole in the bottom of the tank and catch the fuel in a bowl? That's the quick way to steal fuel these days, I've heard.

Obviously, try not to die doing this like those guys in Africa who tried to mop up fuel from a crashed petrol tanker.

Is there any way you can remove the fuel pump/sender from under the rear seat and syphon the fuel from there???????

I know its not as straight forward as the comment above but it will save you having to keep one finger over the hole you've drilled whilst changing bowls to catch fuel in :tonofbricks:

The way I empty the tanks of the cars I break is to disconnect the fuel rail feed under the bonnet, put a lenght of tubing from this to a petrol can, lift the back seat base and tap into the violet wire going to the pump/ sender unit and the black earth, then connect up a battery charger to the wires and this runs the fuel pump to empty the tank into the can, just turn the power off as each can is filled, it takes about 2 minutes to fill a gallon container.
