Hi all

Further to my previous post regarding the Engine Oil Change Due message not resetting, I am now having intermittent starting problems. On pressing the Push Start button, i get the Engine Malfunction message and red warning, followed by Immobiliser Failure, Hill Start Assist failure , Park Assist failure and the engine does not start. Sometimes it will get going after a couple of attempts but it is getting worse.

I did the secret Test procedure on the cluster and two DTC codes came up (C100_00 & 1607_82). Does anyone know what these are? I've tried google to no avail (some guy in USA had the same two codes, but deleted his comment saying he'd sorted it with no info on how!

It's booked in on Weds, but i'd prefer a heads up all the same

Thanks in advance

The dash cam is piggy backed onto the air bag fuse and comes on with the ignition. I had a new battery fitted and the start problem was still there from the first start at Halfords after fitting. In fact I didn't have the cam fitted so it shouldn't be drawing any current, so I had ruled it out until now.

Update: measured battery voltage first thing (12.2V). Disconnected the dash cam hard wire for stamps and drive for 1:15. Stopped at Morrisons to shop. Problem starting again, with the ref light and amber warnings. Started at second attempt and voltage on return to house was 12.7V. Still confused!

Ps. Had the engine management light on for the whole drive too, and I'm not sure I've had that previously
